Here I am again, seeking all of you VJers' expertise... :)

My fiance had his interview earlier this month & the CO kept his passport (good sign!) but gave him a 221g slip for a document from the passport office giving his passport clearance (?). This was not on the embassy website to bring to the interview, but my fiance went & got it & deposited the form the same day as his interview.

anyone have experience with this particular document? Does the fact that he kept the passport mean my fiance is approved? The status is still in AP but we're thinking it's a positive sign.

As far as i know this means there are good chances of approval but they need the document that they asked for. Now just wait you may get an approval and passport anytime. Good luck!!

That thing is call PCC from Regional Passport Office, but your fiance will need his/her passport to apply for PCC and passport also carried PCC Stamp.

Yes he already has the form (PCC) & has submitted it...now just waiting...

Just a question, how can you check for the status of your fiancé case? My mom recieved the yellow sheet in the interview as well. I had to correct one question on her DS-260 application and resubmit it again. On her first interview, they checked all her paperwork and finger printed her. She was told to go back to the US consulate in Lima on the 9th for the oath. I was a little frustrated for the mistake I made. I would love to check her status online after she is done with the second interview. Hope that you get an answer soon about your case.
