Hello all,

It's been a while since I posted here, but we finally have our AOS interview scheduled for October 23. I just have a question about something the letter said we needed to bring to the interview, which is my daughter's birth certificate. She doesn't live with us and her mother has sole custody. I don't have her birth certificate because I don't really need it for anything, so I'm wondering if this is something we ABSOLUTELY need to have? Anyone else been in this situation? Thanks for any info.

I was is the same situation. I only had an old custody paper . It was not brought up at the interview at all. The officer only asked for proof of co-habitation/mingling of assets and asked if i still had the same job. Took about 10 minutes. GC in mail less than 1 week.
