Polls are helpful for those of us who live in deep-red or deep-blue bubble states like SMOKE and myself. Not one of my friends would entertain the possibility of voting for Mittens. They all have good jobs and mortgages and spouses and property and children... and I bet SMOKE could say the same except instead of Mittens it would be Obama.

So yeah, if it weren't for polls (and the internet) i would never know SMOKE and people like him even exist.

Yeah, I'm in a battelground state and I don't know that what I've seen favors either of them. It seems pretty equally pro Romney and pro Obama. The people I personally know are almost all for Obama, but I see plenty of Romney yard signs and bumper stickers.

My neighbors have their lawn covered in Romney stuff. Seriously, at least six. We get it.
