I am looking for a sample Certificate of Clearance or Certificate of No Criminal Conviction from Singapore.

If anyone here has a copy, would you be kind enough to attach one for me?

If I wait for NVC to issue a checklist or send a letter to request the above mentioned certificate, it will delay the whole process at NVC for about 2 months.

I am wondering if I really need a letter from NVC or embassy or can I (maybe) send a request letter from my employer asking for a Certificate of Clearance?

Just confused that if I get it that way, it will be faster but the Singapore Police just might mention in certificate that it is for employer and not for immigration.

RFE: 08/13/2012 "Proof of Bona Fide marital relationship". (Took them 7 months, 1 week and 4 days to send an RFE).

NVC issued Case #, IIN and BIN: 10/10/2012
IV Package Received at NVC: 12/03/2012

EMBASSY STAGE:
interview March 20, 2013 : results AP (sent in paperwork for co-sponsor received 4-20-2013)

Issued: September 30, 2013

POE: Raleigh-Durham International Airport, NC @ 10-17-2013 (Easy entry, pleasant experience).

Removal of Conditions on Residence:

Filed: August 14, 2015 - VSC

NOA1: 08/19/2015

Date of Decision: 06-03-2013

Letter of Approval received: 06-09-2016

Green Card received: 07-15-2016

Naturlization N-400:

Filed: September 16, 2019

Biometrics: October 9, 2019

Interview: August 24, 2020

Approval: Approved and received Naturalization Certificate same day.

Don't they grant you when you simply ask it? You need a letter from someone requesting a declaration?

NVC never sent me a list of documents. They asked me to refer to WWW.travel.state.gov

Singapore Police Force does not issue Clearance Certificate any more.

Those who require the certificate have to make an appeal to them and provided that appeal is approved, only then can request a certificate but to make that appeal and to request the certificate, a letter from respective authority such as NVC or Embassy is required. Singapore Police Force will not entertain any appeal or requests without that letter.COC Notification.doc

Can't help you with the original question, but i don't think an RFE will cost you 2 months. On average, it takes about a week for the NVC to process the response for an RFE. Please see my timeline for the turn around in my case.

07/23/12 - AOS bill invoiced & PAID

07/24/12 - DS-3032 accepted, IV bill invoiced & PAID

07/25/12 - AOS bill appears as PAID, IV bill appears as PAID, AOS Package sent, IV Package sent

07/26/12 - AOS and IV Packages delivered to NVC

08/01/12 - AOS/I-864 accepted, Checklist Issued for DS-230

08/13/12 - Responded to Checklist

08/20/12 - IV accepted, Case Complete

Can't help you with the original question, but i don't think an RFE will cost you 2 months. On average, it takes about a week for the NVC to process the response for an RFE. Please see my timeline for the turn around in my case.

I have to wait for NVC to issue me a letter that they need that Certificate of Clearance from Singapore. Then once I get that letter, I will need to send it to COC department in Singapore, filing an appeal for them to issue me the certificate. This alone shall take about 3 weeks. Once the appeal is approved, then I will have to send the fingerprints and application form to Singapore Police Force (takes 3 days by courier) and they will take another 10 days to process it. That is why I said about 2 months :(
