After 6+ months we just got an RFE today. Seems like there is a lot of them being issued. I will not know exactly what it is about till I get the letter but only thing I can think of is both of us have been previously married (even though submitted copies of the original decree's). I also sent a book that is call logs, hundred pictures with dates, plane tickets to/from Singapore for both of us, hotels, vacation receipts all around the world. I just don't get it.

Once we get the letter we will turn around and give them whatever they ask plus more. Based upon peoples past experience how long did it take to get approved after you submit what is needed for a RFE?

Exactly One Week After They Received It... Monday Morning Sept 17th received and Monday Sept 24th Approved

Thanks. This whole process is irritating me like crazy. I would ask my Fiancee to ask VJ but I think she is about to be banned from the boards and is way to frustrated. :)

This gives me hope! Now if the letter will hurry and get to me.

RFEs get reported, so it just seems like there are more of them. Actually most cases do not have an RFE.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

I got the approval less than 2 weeks after receiving an RFE. I sent copies of my passport, boarding passes, flight receipts. Don't worry if you get an RFE, just send everything you have, you should be fine. I was worried and then before i know it I received the email approval. Good luck!

Thanks. Can't wait to see what the RFE was for since I sent them a box of things as evidence when submitting my I129.
