I saw somewhere a description of how to assemble the application packet. It described what kind of paper clips to use etc...

I do not know if any of this matters but I really want to make sure I get this right the first time. I was even wondering what kind of "plastic bag" to use to put the passport photos in. I'm sure it does not matter but I have been getting paranoid a bit since reading what TBoneTX has been saying about Guayaquil, Ecuador. Apparently that consulate has the worst reputation of all of them. Just my luck!

anyway, any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!

I used a two hole punch on the papers and bound them in a folder with the bendable clip inside, stapled zip-lock baggies (so they could not open) with photos in them to a regular sheet of paper. My understanding is they take it all apart and assemble it in their format (order). Good luck
