Has anybody successfully sent postcards to the PH? How long did it take to arrive there? A few of my friends asked for postcards so I mailed some about a month ago. The post office said that it would take 7-10 business days, but until now my friends haven't received the postcards yet.

Is there any other courier that takes postcards safely to the PH?

About a month sound right, if they get it at all. Your dealing with the corrupt, thieving and or incompetent Fil-Post.

UPS FEDEX DHL LBC is a few off the top of my head. NEVER NEVER send money or documents via USPS, Fil-post handles the mail from USPS

We've been lucky enough that all my mails to him gets to Batangas in 3-4 weeks using First-Class Intl Parcel. I guess it helped that I've put Mike's cell and postal staff sends him text and he'll just pick it up. With the greeting's card, they drop it off at the school and the kids just hand deliver it to him.

Good luck!

LBC if you have it in your area. Regular USPS mail is ####### in the PHL, but it is the best for cheap unhurried love letters and post cards.

To Mindanao usually 4-5 weeks for a letter by usps. I never send anything I don't mind getting lost but out of maybe 6 or more letters and cards only 1 was lost and never made it.

I would never send any packages through normal mail. I've heard too many stories about tampering.

Thanks for the responses. star_smile.gif My brother's girlfriend sent me a message this morning saying that she has received the postcards. They didn't get torn but one was a little crumpled that she could barely read the text California redwoods. That took about four weeks to reach her.

I don't send very important stuff to the PH through USPS. I've always preferred LBC.
