"just waiting" thank you for your quick answer , but i would like to ask more thing , if i don't do that so it is APPROPRIATE reason to deny my case ?? and what is the appropiate reasons for deny ??

Sonna, I think just waiting has given you as complete of an answer as she can. These consulates write their own rules. If you read posts all over VJ you will see that. I saw one just yesterday where the persone was delayed with a 221g because their fiance (petitioner) did not show up at the interview when the consular rules clearly stated that they were not required to!!! If the CO finds any reason they want to investigate further they can deny it. They have the ultimate control. While we cannot tell you what to do, IF you are asked about previous marriage, I would explain the situation fully and let the CO determine the correct course of action. That way you don't have to worry about being caught in a lie later. THAT will be a sure delay!!!

Sonna, do you have the ability to talk with a lawyer about this?

Again, Cairo Embassy doesn't seem to deny cases easily, but any time they have to request additional proofs after the interview it will delay your case. We sent them the paper they requested immediately, but it took them 6 weeks to acknowledge receipt of it and move our case forward.

You would do well to correct this as soon as possible. Its better to make them aware of the error now then have them discover it later. You don't want to appear to be trying to hide information. The Cairo Embassy is very thorough and they're sure to find it. Contact the Embassy and let them know.

If it was not a registered marriage will they be able to find out?

Is it wise to tell them it was undocumented if that's against the law there?

Might they not also then start questioning how many other "undocumented marriages" he may be involved in?

VP- do you and your 'husband' plan to tell them about your undocumented 'marriage'?

oh shucks I was hoping VP was going to answer your question VP!
