I just got my package with the visa forms today and I am really starting to flip out. I feel a lot of what they say doesn't make the least bit of sense. I believe i filled out the DS-156 properly but am not quite sure. What I am most confused about is the DS-156K. Am I supposed to attach my Birth Certificate, evidence of engagement, financial support and police certificates with this form? Because it says to do that, but on my instructions it says to not send them and bring some of that stuff to the visa interview. I just am so confused.

Can anyone instruct me through this whole process and give me detailed instructions about what I need to do. This is for the US Embassy in New Zealand. Some help me please!

If it says to take it to the interview, then that's what you do. As far as your birth certificate, I would NOT mail it, I would take it to the interview, let the officer see it, and get it back.Jusr follow your instructions and you will be fine. When they say attach, it is not literal, meaning make sure you have it with you for the interview.

04/09/15-Mailed ROC

04/10/2015-Package received

04/14/2015-Check cashed

06/02/2015-Called Service Center (still no NOA1) Service request found out wrong address on paperwork! :(

06/03/2015-Called to get address updated Ar11 online add change didnt work-got infopass for June 10th

06/10/2015-Went to info pass appt. Hubby got a 1yr. Extension stamp in his passport and biometrics done

08/12/2015-ROC Approved. Got letter in the mail.

08/29/2015-received new card in the mail.
