Hi everyone, with my husband and i getting ready to send in our information from the RFE we got 8/4/2012 . we were wondering if it is possible that anyone has ever received 2 RFE before?

second question is will the uscis ever penalize anyone if by accident a second copy of documents were sent such as our tax returns we sent with the petition and we send then again??

a second copy was sent where?

Opps i meant a second copy of our tax returns..We sent them the copy form 2010,2011 with our original petition for Removal on Conditions and we got a RFE last week..So what if we re-send info??will that hurt us? We just want to make sure they have it....Little confession (i did not make copies of our last petition to remove conditions) and that was in Feb..so i dont remember...what i out in there photos and such.

I don't think they'd penalize you for sending some stuff twice, but you're going to look disorganized and it'll probably obvious to them that you didn't take a copy or make a list of the original pack you sent out. Make you whatever you send out meets the requirements of what they asked for in the RFE.

In the other thread you started others were asking about what your RFE said and what you had sent off originally. If you can be specific in your answers others may be able to help you avoid another RFE

So if I got the attached forms, I would presume they need more of everything basically.

Identity documents for both of you, such as passports, drivers licenses (which would show you both live at the same address)

MORE documentation to show your marriage is legit. Photos, cards, rent lease, rental receipts, letters from friends family verifying your marriage/address

Copies of medical insurance documentation showing each other as beneficiaries. Life insurance documents. Anything.

Joint account bank stuff, statements for a few years, copies of joint credit cards etc. Car leases

If you have any kids, copies of birth certificates.

What did you provide in your original packet?

We went out marriage certificate.

Copy of my husbands GC/BC

Our medical insurance-both names on it.

Our tax rreturns for 2 years.

copy of our joint bank account.

Car insurance for my husband car / loan.

a few pics.

What we did not have at that time was a lease/mortgage/utilities bills. / renters insurance

we also have a new loan--combined our car loans into one and a new bank..we traveled back to India this year and now have a marriage certificate from there (we had a huge traditional Indian marriage in India) so we have that certificate.

So i am wondering if i should send a copy of my drivers license (it had my old address we just moved) Should i go get a new one made with our new address??

Yes send whatever lease/mortgage/utilities documents you have. We sent our lease which was fixed for a year and then had our landlady write a letter to verify that we still lived here etc and had since XXXX. Our utilities are all included, but I sent the cable bill which is in my name, although my husband is also on the bill but they never print that.

With pictures from the India marriage also include copies of your boarding passes or the email with the ticket confirmation if you didn't already.

Also include more pictures since March, which is when you filed I think?

Include more bank statements going back from whenever you guys opened the account, and up till todays date/after March when you filed previously.

Definitely get your address updated and get a new drivers license. Aside from the USCIS this is an important thing to do anyway. DId you file a change of address with USCIS? (AR-11, you can also do this online if you have not already: https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa.Terms) If not, do that ASAP and include a copy of that also.

We also had 2 letters from friends which were notarized..we were not planning on changing the address since we want it to go to my parents house. Since we are only here for 10 more months and my parents address is stable. it that bad if we dont..

Also my name on the boarding pass is my maiden name since i have 7 years left on my visa and 5 years left on my passport and was going to wait tp update that all?? :/
