You will unfortunately find VSC to be extremely inconsistent, random and unfair. There are still a couple of Feb and March filers waiting. Quite a few Marchies reached the 200 club waiting. I hope VSC speeds up for you; it's not a fun club to join.

Was supposed to send my I-129F to the Dallas Center, which I died. Just received an e-mail confirmation stating they received it and are sending it off to the Vermont center. I assumed that Dallas would be the center to process it...why did I even bother sending it to Dallas if they're forwarding it to Vermont? Then, I looked at the Vermont average processing times for K-1's and my heart sank. It's even longer than the Dallas one. It's nice to hear from some of you who have successfully gone through the long arduous process...it gives me some hope! I guess the most I can do is be prepared for each next step so that I don't make it any longer than it already is!

Dallas is a lock box (PO box) for K-1 petitions. That's it. If you sent to Dallas, you followed the I-129F instructions correctly. The processing times you see for Texas on here are wrong. These people filled out their timelines incorrectly. Your petition is forwarded to Vermont or California based on the state you live in. All K-1 petitions get forwarded to one of these two service centers.

Filed on Mar 6, and got my NOA2 on Oct 19.. Yes, that's right... 225 days. My advice is to brace yourself for the long haul. It may be a while. A friend of mine received his NOA2 in two months from CSC last year. This year VSC took us seven and a half months, so YMMV...

Did you have any problems with anything? That's a long wait! Congrats on finally getting your NOA2 :)

Wow I did not realize that!! Thought it was odd that they'd transfer my petition, but that makes a lot more sense. I thought I read up well on the info, but they never made that part very clear to me!! Thanks for the info...makes me feel better!!
