AOS/AP/EAD Receipt codes?

For example, MSC: is that the Missouri Service Center?

We sent out 3 apps to the Chicago Lockbox.

The 3 NOAs that came in separate envelopes had a Chicago ZIP presort postage stamp with a Lee's Summit MO return address.

Anyone know what that means?

The Chi PO received them 10/18; the NOAs were 10/23; we got them 10/27.

Is there a pattern currently which direction this is going?

AOS/EAD/AP apps are forwarded from the Chicago lockbox to the MSC. EAD and AP are processed entirely at the MSC. The AOS undergoes preliminary proccessing at MSC and is then forwarded either to your local district office who schedules an interview, or to CSC who approves AOS without interview.
