Normally they try to make it easier for you, but if you have a high security clearance, there may be some extra hoops./

It is no different than any other citizen. If you were to deploy or coming back from a deployment, you could expedite the case and be approved faster. Your security clearance has no bearing on the USCIS process. That is something you have to deal with at work and notify your security manager.

just wanted to know how hard or easy is it,to file for a K1 visa for my fiancee if im actively serving in the US army, do we go thru more scrutiny?

Since i came to USA, I have noticed respect and support are given to the military personnel though some people might not agree. If you are serving in Active Duty, you would have a chance to have your process expedited at a certain rate.It won't be so swift as you might want it but there would be consideration and attention to your case and you will probably get your loved one closer to you than other civilian applicant.

Good Luck

Quoted for truth; this is exactly what I experienced.

it took me almost 7 months but i was willing because i believe marriage is commitment and patience. i get the the concept people complaining here and there that they been waiting for a long time for there case to be aprooved well if you real love somebody it doesn't matter how long it takes as long as you will be together finally. coming back to you question the process is the same but you can request for expedite but again it depends on case by case i know on friend who actually got approved in 14days!! good luck battle.
