Require vaccins shots

Hi all,

Can someone please tell me the list of vaccins shots require to enter the U.S and AOS. My fiancee is still in VN and I would like her to get all or as much as possible in Vietnam before coming over to the U.S since it is much cheaper over there.

Vaccines are included in the medical already. Medical can be done before the interview. Payment for those vaccines are already included in the medical.

She will get them when she does the medical exam they will either be included in the fee for the exam or it may be an additional fee. Here is a link per the CDC what is needed per immigrations as far as vaccinations. If you look towards the bottom it shows you what age appropriate shots are needed. Also a TST test must be done as well, this test is for TB.

There are none actually required to enter the US with a K-1. They are actually only required for AOS. However, if you can get them in your own country and have them marked off on the DS-3025 at the K-1 medical exam, all the better. The ones required are MMR, Tdap/TD, varicella(unless you already had the chickenpox) and the flu shot(during flu season only: Oct. - Mar.). http://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/ti/civil/vaccination-civil-technical-instructions.html#tbl1

Most have found it is cheaper and easier to get the shots stuff done prior to entry in US. One less thing to do later.

As Jay-Kay said, be sure to get a copy of the DS-3025, it will be needed for the AOS
