Hey everyone. My wife is concerned and extremely curious about what to expect in her K3 interview at the embassy in Manila. What type of questions or situations she may encounter while in "the room" with her interviewer. Any input would be greatly appreciated. :)

Its not a room in manila, its a booth with a gas station security window. The questions were relatively expected and rather pleasant. I was asked "why her" after his requests for supporting documents. It was mostly procedural type stuff. I answered him "Well reason one, obviously she is georgeous" which brought out a smile, "and two when I set out to find a woman I could live with for the rest of my life she became the woman I can't live without". At that point he had a look on his face as if he got an idea for his next line to get some good nookie  He also asked her the same question and I think he was looking for a good loving vibe. I think the more convinced he/she is from the start, the shorter the interview.

Oh I can't forget the look on his face  when I dumped $2000 worth of phone cards in front of him to prove that we have a solid relationship right after showing all the Western Union receipts T-mobile bills. So yes phone cards do serve as evidence if anyone is wondering.

Afterwords you will be sitting in front of two windows. Windows 35 and 36. If 36 calls you, you are good to go  , window 35 is where you get the denial and reasons and what to do .

Oh and if you go with her, dear god don't dress like the hairband white trash I saw there with a Slayer shirt and tight jeans  He and his fiance ended up in Window 35, I overheard something about Affidavit of support and why this is the 2nd time not having it. At the very least it didn't make me proud to be an American at that moment in the middle of the RP as my wife was shaking my shoulder and chanting "oh my gosh look huuuuunnie he is soo Badoy (that is phonetically spelled and is Cebuano dialect for "out of style"), is that how they dress in the USA?"
