anybody who knows about that or heard about it , is it something that i don t have to worry about ??? would you please send me any clarification about it ???

I am interested in this also. My fiancee will interview there and I dont know what to expect. Maybe you should chnage the wording of your headline. Ask if any other consulates/embassies have the same process. I don't think so, but I have read the opinions of others who went to that consulate and the results were not favorable.

I think I was late filing for AOS:

07/27/07: Mailed AOS papers to Chicago mailbox.

08/02/07: AOS papers received in Chicago.

Go to embassy reviews and put in Morocco. You can read what others posted about their experience there. It seems like everyone gets the background check. I don't think u have anything to worry about since she told u that they will call u back in about a week. So, I would like to say CONGRATULATIONS.:dance::dance:

This is normal proceedure for Casa. There is a security check performed before the Visa is issued. This can take 1-2 weeks....and occassionaly longer. Hope you hear something soon.

Wow if you had been in the Regional/Middle East forum we could have cheered you on!!! As Lavon and Sophie have said it is normal process in Casa to send cases for a security check before the visa is issued. The time can vary so all you can do is wait for the call. We have seen several issued at 1-2 weeks in the forum, so good luck that you are one of them... and fmsdm (sorry trying to remember your name from your post  ) come and join us!! Lots of support from people who are going through or have gone through Casablanca.
