Hi All,

My NOA1 at VSC was 17 April and they seem to be taking about 6 months for a petition. I am a little worried though because the "last updated" date or "last touched" date is April 23 or just 6 days after they received my petition. I am trying to be patient but I hate to wait and then find out that my petition was forgotten or something! Anyone else have any information or experience on when you would expect a petition to be "touched??

Also anyone know what is going on with the Vermont Service Center? Looking at historical date here on VJ just one year ago they were processing petitions in 3 or 4 months and the other centers seem to be still doing that but VSC is now taking 6. Thanks!

VSC is back logged heavily at this time and is pretty well fubar.

It is not uncommon for you to see no other updates after the initial touch before they inform you of their decision. If you get an RFE then you will see something prior.

My NOA1 is June 4th and there hasn't been another touch since the initial one on June 13th.

No worries. Get a cold one hang out and enjoy the ride for what it's worth.

Don't worry too much about the 'touches. Some never show any, in fact my K1 still shows pending.

Vermont is slow at the moment, but not all that long ago it was just the opposite, and people were moaning about how slow CSC was. It goes in swings and roundabouts.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Interesting addition to my earlier post. Googled it and found a lot of complaints and someone that is starting a petition to the government for the VSC slow proc times. They need 300 signature to file it and they are now about 230. Anyone with a pending petition or application at VSC, please sign this!!!
