I was hoping someone could confirm my understanding of NVC, or correct me anywhere I've misunderstood. Thanks in advance for your time.

I am the petitioner. I just paid i864 AOS processing fee of $88, currently PROCESSING. I emailed NVC a few days ago letting them know that I (petitioner) will be the principal agent to receive info on my wifes behalf, however now I think I misunderstood and was not supposed to do this. I think I misread the email at first :(

Heres where I need help..

When this changes to PAID, I can then send my i864 and income verification documents, including the AOS invoice with the barcode, and DS 3032 CHOICE OF AGENT all together in one package. Will I also need to include my wifes documentation in this package (birth certificate, prison record, military record etc), or will that be sent later on?

Also, is it acceptable that she scans and emails me the documents so I can then print them and send them, thus saving us time and money? She will have all original documents available at the interview. In Peru their documentation is printed on regular pieces of paper that don't really look that official at all.. I can't tell the difference between photocopies and originals.

Thank you.

Yes you cane send the package in now. You could have soon as you paid. Be sure you print the bar-coded cover page from the payment portal.

Those documents are part of the IV BILL package. Thats the other payment that will get invoiced. The Visa fee $230 which is invoiced once they receive and accept the DS-3032 which you can email them now..

All the documents must be originals..
