Perhaps there are otherways of living a life other than misery. No one is obligated nor beingforced to live in the USA. As a matter of fact, many have chosen the option andhave gone thought the slow process [VSC at this specific time] for a betterlife?. Better sure, otherwise we/you will still be living in your homecountry.

There are individuals inevery blog that will take your words and get very offended and more. But it is moreon us [the writer] to be conscience that every office, country, even your own home have rules and many time, we don't get what wewant when we want it.

It is unfortunately thatthe OP feels this way and of course, we could sent him back to his home countryto continue living his life there, but a choice was made and now you eitheraccepted or not. But, we all can understand your frustration about the slowprocessing as we all are and been there a couple of times before.. Don't bediscourage, I am sure your decision to move to USA is for love and love ispatient.. Soon, went you have your approval and document on hand you will feelbetter, if not.. give it back and say good bye to America.

Best of Luck,

VSC sucks.

America sucks. If not because of my fiancee, I don't even want to move there.

Just wondering.. have you ever actually spent time in America, or did you fiancé come to you? I think once you are here and get adjusted you will be very pleased with your decision. My fiancé is from turkey but lives in austria... while I loved my visit to europe I can honestly say I would never leave America unless there was no other choice for us to be together.

Best of luck.

Vermont Service Center just updated the wait time from 6 to 9.6 months….!!!! They are clearly making the case of why the government can’t be in charge of our lives…. God help me… I’ll vote Republican for the first time in my life…

Just checked the USCIS website ( on the same page where you check case status), it still says 6 months for Vermont. Where did you get that information ? I think that is incorrect given that Vermont is speeding up now.
