Wow it is so not fair seeing the California NOA2s show up in 2 months when at Vermont Service Center it takes at least 6 months. How can they justify this kind of treatment to those of us that had our packet sent to Vermont. They are showing on their website that they are processing petitions on Feb 27, which is totally not true if you look at Igor's list. This makes me lose even more confidence in the system. Does anyone have any suggestions of effectively expediting the process at VSC?

Processing time at Vermont center has been officially updated to 6 months. A few weeks ago the site said 5.2 months and a few weeks prior to that it said 5 months. Is vermont moving or getting worse.

You're not the only one waiting. There's nothing you can do except to wait.

Igor's list is not representative of the entire picture. Igor's list only shows you petitions of VJ members, and there are many many more that are not members here.

There are no methods to expedite out of the pretty hard to get, here is the list and a link

When we filed our K1 petition almost a year ago - it was the other way around. California was taking 6 months to process petitions and Vermont was processing them much quicker - everyone was hoping for their petition to be sent to Vermont. Of course ours went to california - hang in there - it will happen!

I don't even think they're approving expedites at Vermont right now, especially when you're past 5 months. My congressional office told me to wait until December to hear something.

Same here. Congresswoman and Senator gets nothing but "VSC is only processing before February 27. Your March 9th petition is still within normal processing time."

Although is over stress waiting to hear some kind of movement @ VSC, but unless they [VSC] moves nothing you will be able to do but loss your calm and hair. When I processed the K1 for my wife, my process was extremely fast [VSC] and the California side was severely slow.. I am processing ROC and been waiting since February for some kind of sign from Vermont and nothing but on the other hand California has moved smoothly..

In order words, as mentioned before, nothing we can do but wait.. it will come and at that moment, the peace and relief will be overwhelming.. We all can guarantee that..

ok just read off the USCIS site that VSC is transferring its workload for cased filed after 8/15. Only the I-90's, I-130's and I-485 will be transfered to field offices. Here's a link (sorry gotta cut and paste this)

VSC really needs to get there act together. its not fair considering how fast CSC are getting through
