If Hillary Clinton does run and win the election I hope she will tackle health care insurance and medical cost--its just really out of hand. Energy cost, housing depreciation, health care cost, rising education cost, war on terror, uncontrolled illegal immigration, eroding of our civil liberities, and the constant exportation of jobs should be the key issues.

Housing depreciation is suddenly an issue? After years of seemingly irrationally high appreciation?

Saddam's opponents played a pivotal role in the construction of the argument that eventually led us into Iraq. The argument was based on the 'imminent threat' of Saddam. In hindsight, the argument appears to have been a bad one.

FWIW, I don't think we should 'cut and run' like some Democrats (like Murtha) are suggesting. I do, however, think the suggestions from other Democrats (like Biden) of possibly partitioning Iraq should be looked into.

Really? Shows how little you know. My position on our going into Afghanistan (with proper mandate) and our going into Iraq (w/o proper mandate) are completely different - the exact opposite, to be precise. I supported (and still support) our going into Afghanistan. I opposed (and still oppose) our going into Iraq.

I agree gupt, None of us really know exactly whats going on in Iraq, None of us are there to see everything thats going on! what really angers me is all the press does is put up death counts everyday,Im sure there are parts of the country that are totally free of violence and some good stories to be found but of course we will never hear them,this CONSTANT POUNDING of death and destruction EVERYDAY! sure it should be reported but my god!

I don't recall 'blaming' America, I think that's more supposition on your part. Your words, not mine. Disagreeing with the government is only "hatred of America" for those who really don't understand the democratic freedoms they claim to defend and represent.

It is interesting to me that terms such as "Anti-American" and "UnAmerican" exist - as though there is some standard of ideology of behaviour at which point one can be considered to be dangerously unpatriotic. In fact it seems to be unique to the US - I don't recall anyone being called "Un-English", for example..

As for the "bad guys", I don't disagree there. I object to people seizing on the "necessity" of a war that has become little more than a television event for the vast majority of people.

We are in Iraq,Saddam is gone, killed and interupted many attacks! the attacks are now on our military! Last I remember thats what the military does and is supposed to do! Its so easy to look back on something and then condemn it. Some of the arm chair presidents here really are quite pathetic! There were mistakes made! last I checked nobody is perfect!

Bush is in no way as bad as these three clowns! if the world does not get together on taking care of these whacko leaders theres gonna be hell to pay, most of europe just wants to stay out of it and lay low but as we all see, France is gonna have to take a stand! their immigration laws are biting them in the #######!
