Hi friends!!!!!!!!!!! Set up my interview on the 15th of August and I have a question

My fiance (petitioner) called their MY HR to get the employment letter to support the I 134 form.

He forwarded it to me via email and it has the ff:

-Company logo (Just the logo and I do not know if you can consider it as letterhead)

-name, status, income, start date, position

The thing is, it is sent electronically and it doesn't have a signature. It just says, if you have any question, please contact MY HR.

Is this valid? Or should I ask him to ask their HR for a new one?

I don't recall all the things the I-134 states should be in the employment letter...but your list sounds complete to me.

It is ok to print out the electronic copy...but it may be good to stick a "post-it" note on it that MY HR only provides electronic copies for employment letters related to immigration.

Yes...with the logo...it will be considered letterhead...assuming an address and phone number is also there. Many companies do not have physical letterhead...only electronic (as with my own employer). The Embassy understands this.

Although you should be prepared with all that is requested in the I-134 (bank letter too), the main thing the US Embassy at Manila is looking for is an original signed I-134 and a copy of the associated most recent tax return. Also...W-2 statements (I'd have copies and originals of W-2's if possible). They don't even seem to ask for anything else...unless maybe there is a problem and they need more info for some reason? In my case...the pay stubs, employment letter, and bank letter were not requested at all. Seems they only want the minimum amount of additional paperwork necessary to prove income...and that's about it.

My recommendation...take everything you can to the interview...but be prepared to quickly find only the items they ask for - and hand it to them. In a word...it's unlikely you will even need the employment letter if you have the other stuff.

I know I over-answered your question. Just trying to be helpful.

Hi everyone!!!!!

Another question about the I-134 form. and thank you so much in advance, I appreciate all your help.

1. " I have other personal property value of "

Question: He already fully paid one car and still paying a car note for the other car can we consider this as personal property? How about furniture?

2. On item no 10 it says " I have submitted a visa petition to USCIS on behalf of the ff:

Question: Should I put my name here? I am the beneficiary

3. Question:On item 11, what do you mean, if we check INTEND? what will be the explanation?

3. Question:On item 11, what do you mean, if we check INTEND? what will be the explanation?

My suggested answers:

1. Yes...both cars are personal property. Furniture too. They will be less concerned with personal property if the income requirements are met.

2. On this one...I put "none"...but I made a mistake here...and mine was still approved (as it is obvious a petition had been submitted and approved for my fiancee). In hindsight...I would have put the name of my Philippine fiancee. So...yes...you "madison925" are the beneficiary of his petition...so your name goes here. Even if this is not correct...it's not going to cause any confusion to have your name twice in the I-134.

3. You do NOT intend to make specific contributions. (It's because the support from your fiance is "general" and "unlimited" - which is the opposite of "specific"). You would only select "intend" if the support is limited in any way...by time...or amount of money...or some other condition. Support for a fiancee should never be limited by specific contributions...so he should NOT intend to make specific contributions.

Hope this helps.
