Aloha October 2012 K1 filers,

Delia & I recieved NOA2 from CSC with a date of 2012-10-19 (1455hrs HST). Based on our receipt number, about seven 2012-10-19 filers received RFE, a 2012-10-19 filer presently in initial status, and six including us received approval. Note I did request to expedite (by phone) our case but apparently that was not necessary since unknown to me, I faxed expedite request letter & supporting document after my approval this afternoon. Take care!

Much Mahalo for VJ on the guides and various forum topics,

Mike

Ok, an hour ago I checked our status and I noticed that they updated it for the first time. It is still on initial review but below that it says like this "On April 25, 2013, your address was changed relating to the I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that you filed."

Can somebody tell me if it is a good sign or not?? My fiance did not change his address or anything.

Thank you so much in advance.

I seriously can't wait for VSC to creep into the 20s with the October filers. I feel like I'm moving in slow motion.. Watching myself cross the finish line in the most annoyingly slowed down movement ever! BUT at least they're still moving. Even if it is excruciating.

COME ON VSC! KEEEEEEP GOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG (That's me speaking in slow motion)

Love it! I'm thinking the same thing. It's the last two weeks of spring semester in graduate school and I simply cannot write my final papers while I'm checking VJ and USCIS every 30 seconds! LATE OCTOBER COOOOOOOME ONNNNNNN!

Virginia

Rob Wittman is the Congressman for my area, also i sent a letter to both Senators...but only one Senator Mark Warner responded to me.

So i had 2 representatives working in our behalf, Congressman was a little faster since i faxed the information to his office.

APPROVED!!! on 4-26! I didn't get an email or text but this morning when I woke up our case status was approved!!

Yesterday was my last day of college; I graduate next week! Last night I was feeling pretty bummed that my fiance could not be here to celebrate with me as we had hoped but an NOA2 approval is the PERFECT gift for graduation! We were expecting an RFE because his letter of intent was a scanned document and therefore not an "original" signature but thankfully they let it slide! ON TO THE NEXT PHASE! and one step closer to beginning our lives together!

Best wishes for all of you still waiting. Keeping you all in my thoughts and hoping for a quick NOA2 approval!!
