For those that have not been paying attention to Igor's List for CSC K-1 filers... it appears CSC is "stepping up to the plate" for us October filers. A few days ago...there were only 4 CSC approved K-1 petitions. I openly complained about this in a post. Immediately after my open complaint...we now have 31 approved petitions!!! Do you think CSC heard me after reading my post? LOL :-) LOL.

It's my prayer that CSC remains "on a roll" and makes up for the injustice done to its October filers (as Nov and Dec were processed BEFORE October petitions).

Again....all of this is based on Igor's List...but this list does not seem to be too far from reality based on a study someone did here within VJ.

Let's go October CSC filers!!!

Good luck october filers  I just received an email from the NVC that our petition is on its way to frankfurt

i filed for our fiance visa in october 2012 and was received by the USCIS and assigned to VSC on Oct. 2, 2012. I got our NOA 1 dated Oct. 4, 2012. I called up USCIS sometime 2 weeks ago and they said that they were processing oct. 1st filers. i told the customer service representative that i want a service request put in coz it was beyond processing times if i checked on the website it said the processing times were at 5 months. i was told to call back in a week. i called up this morning and the CS told me that as of today they are processing papers that were filed last week of september 2012. we're still in initial review. i wanted to tell him that on the website it said that it was at 5 months. so i'm gonna call up again next week - which is the first week of may and we're entering our 7th month since filing and still no word yet on the status of the case. i hope that we can get even an RFE just so we know what's going on with the petition. congratulations to october filers who got approved... good luck on the next steps in your journey!

did you get through to a tier 2 officer? the one we talked to told us we could put in a service request after hitting 7 months so that would be your next step in may. anyway, it shouldn't be long now :) fingers crossed :star:

Let's go VSC, only 4 in the past 2 days, you have to do better than that!!! This is becoming torture, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel but it's not getting any brighter!

how does one get to a tier 2 officer? should i tell the customer rep i wish to speak to a tier 2?

Yes. It's not hard to get them to pass you to a tier 2 officer, once you show them you know what they are gonna say and they can't answer your questions. However, from what I've seen, you might be on hold for a very... long... time...

If I were you I'd wait until you hit the 7 month mark in May, then call right away and speak to a tier 2. they should let you put in a service request then (I'm going by what they told us 3 weeks ago).

Good luck to you and all other filers :star:

Another day of waiting :(

Fingers crossed! try to stay positive, it can't be long now! :star: :star: :star:

I seriously can't wait for VSC to creep into the 20s with the October filers. I feel like I'm moving in slow motion.. Watching myself cross the finish line in the most annoyingly slowed down movement ever! BUT at least they're still moving. Even if it is excruciating.

COME ON VSC! KEEEEEEP GOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG (That's me speaking in slow motion)
