Hey, heeeeey.... I still think VSC is doing quite well lately, we're seeing the approvals rolling into October, lets stay positive here! I'm an October 25th filer and lets just think.. Hopefully within a month, we'll see NOA2, if not sooner. They're not churning out piles of approvals every day, but slow and steady may win the race :) Chin up!

Thank you, you put a smile on my face :D

I'm October 22nd. And you are right, they are doing quite well, and when I called they were really helpful.

Go VSC!

Can someone please link me to Igor's List?

I just got off the phone with USCIS. I was able to get through to a Tier 2 rep fairly quickly. He checked my case status and said it was waiting to be assigned to an "officer", again generic answers. I then told him I belong I noticed VSC was moving along nicely for a few weeks but now has seemed to stall again. He proceeded to tell me that due to immigration reform and DACA that their work load continues to increase and processing times are going up. He told me K1 times are at 7 months right now and that they are working on mid September. I told him I know their have been people in October approved, and he told me the September date is a "average". I will keep calling every few days, not sure if it will help but nothing to loose at this point!

Another VSC October filer here (NOA1 October 23). Wishing everyone the best of luck in the next few weeks as **hopefully** the approvals start rolling in!!

I just bought a ticket to visit my fiance in May, and I'm hoping by the time I see him that there will be an interview on the books for June or July.

I, Michael, just requested to expedite Delia & I K-1 VISA based on "severe financial loss" and expectation of obtaining K-1 VISA by the end of July 2013 (NOA1 October 19, 2013 @ CSC) based on 5-month I129F processing time & NVC turnover/medical/interview. Basically, her employer will terminate her contract by July 2013 (employer already hired her replacement for turnover, and plans to hire another) in combination of my 20% pay cut (ie. sequester).

I did not catch the customer agent badge #, but I did receive a service request receipt # with a potential decision within 5 days and a repeated caveat that it may be longer to make a decision. He did ask if I have something in writing that her employer will terminate her in July 2013 (none).

Anyway, I'm just informing you all of a route I'm taking. I may need to include my representatives.

I pray for all us October 2012 K1 filers, and congrats to those with NOA2! Take care.

Good luck to you and your fiancee. we felt the same way, every day hoping for something to happen....

it can't be long now, I'm sure it's coming just hang in there and try to stay positive (I know it can be difficult). The feeling you get when that case status has finally changed is overwhelming (I cried lol)

Anyway, good luck! :star:

Well, it happened. 15 minutes ago to be exact. Wow, you sure were right, the feeling you get... So it's official, noa2 exactly 199 days after noa1, one day shy of the 200 club. Wow, I'm still in shock and disbelief. I hope this is good news for everyone else. VSC is moving on the October K-1s. Yay!
