i just had my interview today at USEM, and GOD is really good coz i passed the interview and it only took me less than 5 mins. the FO asked me the tax transcripts of my fiance, our divorce papers, NBI, and just look on our photos together. while waiting for my final interview with the CO, I feel very nervous and keep on praying to passed and not going to have a problem with all the documents i have on me. the CO was really nice, hes old, has a white hair and white mustache. greet him good morning. and then started all the questions, i think he just asked me 5 questions, whats your petitioners name? are you married before? are you divorce? i said yes, where i said in japan, is ur fiance divorce, yes. and so on and so on. then he asked me for my NBI clearance using my divorce name which i am still using on my passport and i gave it to him and he said, ok everything is fine just wait for ur name to be called coz were having some computer delays. wait again then heard my name called, long line. then it said ok mam just wait for ur visa to be delivered on ur address with ur visa.. wow very happy to hear that.. all the efforts, time, prayers really works..

here are some advices on what to do when ur filing a K1 visa and you were divorce in a foreign country with a foreign spouse (but got married in phil)...

i got married in phil 2010 with a japanese guy and got divorce also on the same year.i met my fiance october 2010, he files the k1 petiton NOVEMBER 2011 and got my noa2 march 2012 after all the delays coz of the japan police clearance which took 3months to be release, delayed on my sputum test (after 2 months)but its negative and cant get earlier schedule coz st, lukes cant make me an earlier interview then after all the waits and before my interview date, my fiance and i kept on reading through online about that i have to file the petition for foreign judgement for divorce coz i m divorce in japan not here in phil. i am still using the surname of my ex spouse on my passport and thats what were afraid of, might denied on my visa interview. then 2weeks before my interview date, we did file the petition for divorce here in phil and have my copy today for my interview. but the FO And CO didnt even asked me about that petiton filed. the divorce cert from japan did satisfied them that i am legally and free to marry my fiance in u.s..

tips for those who is in my situation, u can still use ur passport with the surname of ur previous spouse, just make sure u have ur divorce papers in you.and if u want to file for petition for divorce here in phil its better also so u wont have a problem in your CFO seminar. the most thing to do is pray hard.. it really works..

may the LORD GOD bless us in everything we do.. good luck everyone
