I-797c DL in Georgia

Ok so this is my question ive been readin some topics but havent quite gotten a answer i needed.

My question is can you get a Driver License with a I-797c (NOA)? And how?

I dont have a SSN. But i called the DMV In Geaorgia where i currently live and they told just bring all your immigration paperwork and you can even

if i dont have a SSN.

Has anyone passed thru something like this?

I-797C with Applicant’s name, demographic info & SSN - For Non-Citizens only

I used to live in GA. Unless you are a foreign student with a valid I-20, they won't issue DL wihout a SSN.

Then how come some people and the dmv customer service tell me i could.?

DMV customer service. Yeah, those people who sit in the call center answering the phone. Do you think they give accurate answer all the time? Even USCIS customer service sometime gives people wrong info.
