Hi all - for those whose biometrics have already been taken, did you realize that the last update date in your USCIS account changed to the date when your biometrics were taken or stayed the same date

Great !! Happy for you !!

I am worried as I sent my N 400 on 15th oct by USPS Express mail to 2501 S State hwy 121 Business # 400, Lewisvile,TX-75067 and USPS confirms delivery on 16th oct but so far no response from USCIS nor has the check been presented ..Is this normal as I see lots of them getting an NOA in abt a weeks time.. very concerned ..Pls let me know..Thanks..

Does anyone know what Priority Date means?

The letter has a 'Notice Date' of 10/20, a Received date of '10/18 and a Priority Date of '10/18'

"Priority Date" is the date they use to determine what order to process applications in to maintain a "first come, first served" order, and also the filing date they use when determining if an application has gone over it's processing deadline and should be moved to the front of the line (for example in response to an inquiry from a Congressman's or Senator's office).

It's not terribly relevant in N-400 applications, but they're very important in others, like I-130 family petitions that have enormous waiting periods and don't typically get handled for years after the initial filing.
