Fiance's Signatures

I received my Fiance's signed G-325A and letter of intent this morning, along with her passport style pics. I wish she showed them to me on cam before she sent them, but due to her busy school schedule it does not leave her with much time to do things during the week. So right after she printed and signed them, she saw a FedEx and decided to just go in and send them. Anywho, how picky are they with the signatures? I typed up the letter of intent for her exactly like the example I found in the guide section of this site, so I left some space for her to sign. She signed it very small right above her typed name, not typically how I've seen letters signed, but I guess OK. On the 325 form she printed her name on the signature line and then signed right above it. Does anyone think there would be any issues with this? I have read that the G-325A form doesn't even need to be signed, is that true?

I hate to have to her print, sign, and resend everything again, but I'd rather take an extra week now than find out months later that it's not acceptable.

One good thing is that FedEx took less than a week for me to get it. She sent it last Friday there, and I got it this morning.

Thanks.

A signature is a signature, it doesn't matter if printed or in cursive.

Don't worry, my fiancee signed her letter of intent and G-325A form, and you can't even read the signature. To me it looks like squiggly lines bunched together, but they accepted it!

Letter of intent requires a statement of being legally free to marry the fiance(e), typed and signed name, and then the date. As long as it's readable, you can write it as a spiral, in 5 different colors, or sign above the typed name. Because this is YOUR letter of intent, and it's not a form.

As long as it's signed, you'll be fine. For the first stage of the process, you're the one being under a magnifying glass because you're the one who has to be eligible to petition someone. The next step is more about your fiancee. Just remind her of the signature thing when it comes to the other forms later on.
