"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Do you feel disgusted with yourself for falsely accusing someone?

Did anyone seriously believe that an internal DoJ probe would find any fault with Eric Holder, the head of the DoJ?

If he is ever cleared by an independent investigation - and that would include all of the documents denied Congress by the inappropriate use of Executive Privilege - then we might agree that there was some substance to those findings.

Until then, the stink of suspicion will not leave the AG.

After watching the report on Univision, there is no way i can support an administration that put firearms in the hands of very dangerous criminals in Mexico. I am voting for Romney because of F&F! I hope other Mexicann hermanos do the same. We cannot support, nor should we support an administration that has helped dangerous criminals to terrorize our fellow Mexicans in Mexico.

It's time for Obama's administration to go. We cannot afford mistakes like those that have been made with F&F.

Since F & F started under Bush you won't be getting what you think by voting for Romney, but it is a free country so vote how you like.

the program under President Bush was different and very carefully monitored. They didn't just let the guns 'walk'. It was also run in cooperation with the Mexican government.

Yes, they're all in cahoots with one another! They're all corrupt! Wait, the Inspector General is a former Reagan and Bush appointee??? No, no! It couldn't be! Oh, I know - Republicans and Democrats are in cahoots with one another! It's one, big, corrupt fest! Run for the hills!

Daniel R. Levinson has headed the Office of Inspector General (OIG) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) since 2004, when he began serving in an Acting capacity.

....

In a decade of private law practice in Washington, DC, Mr. Levinson represented a wide range of clients before the Federal courts, regulatory agencies, and the U.S. Congress. In his public service career, he has been Deputy General Counsel of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and General Counsel of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. In 1986, Mr. Levinson was appointed by President Reagan to be Chairman of the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board, a bipartisan quasi-judicial agency that adjudicates Federal civilian personnel appeals. He was appointed by President George W. Bush to be Inspector General for the U.S. General Services Administration in 2001 and for HHS in 2005.
