I am abroad while my AOS is pending and want to re enter the country with my advance parole travel documents. Do I still need to do the ESTA stuff online?

Thanks for your help guys!

ESTA is only required when you travel under the Visa Waiver Program. You are not traveling under the Visa Waiver Program.

ESTA is only for people that fit all of the following criteria:

* You are a citizen or eligible national of a Visa Waiver Program country.

* You are currently not in possession of a visitor's visa.

* Your travel is for 90 days or less.

* You plan to travel to the United States for business or pleasure.

thank you for the quick reply!

I was googling around some just now and I read that along with the AP document, you need the receipt that you filed for AOS / i-485. Is that so? When I planned my trip I never read that anywhere, and boy did I research thoroughly... Now I don't have it. Would a scanned copy be enough?
