Hi all.

I'm new here and I'd first like to thank you for the information that has been available here, your forum has been most helpful.

I just have some general questions. My fiancee and i have had our i-129f app approved and it has been mailed over to the London consulate about a month ago, i have received the instructions from them and have completed all the relevant apps, except the ds-2001 checklist since i did not have my police cert to hand and i did not want to book the medical without it. However, i have now received the police cert and made a medical appointment for Friday.

The problem is i have sent off my visa apps about 2 weeks ago and stupidly forgot to add my case number to the containing documents. i have contacted the helpline who by the way were quite helpful and said that it shouldn't be a problem and they would still be able to trace my case on the system just by my name alone.

There were a few issues with the app that i was not sure about including that one, the others were as follows.

One of the apps downloaded from the website to fill out kept marking fields in yellow highlights. I did not think that it was an issue with adobe since the other forms were fine.

I also had an issue with the main k1 visa application, the problem is that it requires 2 copies, the end page of which prints off a bar code and I'm not sure if they require 2 copies with 2 different bar codes or 2 copies with a matching bar code.

Can anyone advise me if i should make new copies complete with the ds-2001 and cover letter to send in now i have a medical appointment?

Many Thanks

Marc

I moved your post to the UK forum because your questions are country specific, and you have a great deal of people very knowledgeable in UK matters. I suggest that, while you are here (and if you haven't already) look at the stick posts. They have collected a lot of information over time and your answer might be posted there already.
