No e-mail for case completetion. I called NVC right after I reveived an e-mail stating they reveived my IV documents via e-mail. The NVC told me over the phone that it was complete. The next week we received an interview appointment e-mail. All correspondence was from the NVC. I'll certainly let you know the questions they get in the interview.

Thank you !

I know I will be thinking about their interview date now... Best luck again !

Guess what? I just received an email about two hours ago informing me of the interview date (12/5).

It's a little bit earlier than the ideal date (middle or end of December) I would prefer. But I can't complain :)

Thank you SO MUCH for everyone who responded to me on this forum and who have shared their insight or experience with me along the journey. I will try to offer any help I can offer to new comers in the future for sure !

Thank you again, Mile and Lily (F) (F) (F)

You guys rock

Hi what is a cover letter?

It's sort of a introduction letter to accompany the attachment.

I actually didn't include that in my attachment. Instead I listed what's in my attachment in the email.

Petitioner's Email Address:

Beneficiary's Email Address:

Petitioner's name:

Beneficiary's name:

Petitioner's Date of Birth:

Beneficiary's Date of Birth:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Please find the attached D-230 and supporting documents for case number xxxxxxxxxx.

Here is what's in my IV package:

-bar code coversheet from payment portal

-DS-230 parts I and II

-supplemental sheet

-copy of beneficiary's passport bio page

-two passport style pictures of the beneficiary

-copy of beneficiary's birth certificate white book

-copy of beneficiary and petitioner relationship certificate white book

-copy of beneficiary's police certificate white book

-copy of beneficiary's previous marriage certificate white book

-copy of beneficiary's divorce certificate white book

-copy of petitioner’s marriage certificate

-copy of petitioner’s divorce paper

Thank you very much for your prompt attention.

Sincerely yours,
