Here is what I am preparing for the IV package email:

-bar code coversheet from payment portal

-cover letter

-DS-230 parts I and II

-supplemental sheet

-copy of beneficiary's passport bio page

-two passport style pictures of the beneficiary

-copy of beneficiary's birth certificate white book

-copy of beneficiary and petitioner relationship certificate white book

-copy of beneficiary's police certificate white book

-copy of beneficiary's previous marriage certificate white book

-copy of beneficiary's divorce decree white book

Did I miss anything here?

About the pictures, I read about Ryan H's post and he mentioned about " how I did this is I scanned the front side and back side of the pictures and inserted them into the file" ...

Why do I need to scan the back side of the picture?

Is that because I need to write down the name of the beneficiary and the case number in the back of the picture ?

Are all the original papers including I-130, I-864 and DS-230 required at interview besides the original white books?

Thank you very much !

I got divorced a couple of years ago.

Do I need to bring both the marriage and divorce papers ( originals) for the interview ?

Did you scan both sides of the passport pictures of the benefiary by the way ?

Thank you !!!

Do I need to send a copy of the petitioner's marriage/divorce paper in the IV package email ?

Thank you !

I would send it. I'm not sure you'd get an RFE without it, but the original (or certified copy) needs to be presented at the interview.

What is the supplemental sheet ? Am I supposed to receive it from NVC ?

My understanding is that I can send the IV package email as soon as I can get the bar code payment coversheet...

However I received an email from NVC:

" Dear Sir/Madam,

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your correspondence.

We received electronic documentation for this case. Please allow up to

20 business days from the day the email was sent for the scanned

attachments to be uploaded to the electronic case file and reviewed. "

It was a response to my AOS I-864 package email, which came after I paid the IV bill.

Should I simply ignore it ?

Thank you !

I just realized that there is a mistake in the beneficiary and petitioner relationship certificate (white book).

It mentioned about my passport number, but it's my expired Chinese passport number :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

I am going to use my birth certificate (white book) which I got back in 2001. I actually used that one in my I-130 application. I assume it should be ok.

Here is the supplemental sheet. I'm not sure it's used anymore but I filled it out and sent it anyway.

You can ignore that e-mail. You will get another one a few days after you send your IV package.

Hopefully, your case will be complete a few days later.

I emailed the IV package last week. I thought the supplemental sheet was the one to go with DS-230 form when space is limited :bonk: :bonk:

Anyway,I will see what happens. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Thank you as always !

You should be using :

1. your birth certificate white book and

2. your USCitizen Passport thingie..

2 proves up (again) that yer a USC, and 1 proves up the relationship between you and yer parent.
