ok Divorced 6 times? How long was each relationship? What were the reasons for each divorce? He is obviously showing a sign of instability by his track record. Really think hard about these facts because I would hate for you to end up divorce number 7. Does he have children from these marriages and if he does can he even prove financial stability from having to support them? If you are happy and feel sure this is love then may God bless your love and best wishes!

Sounds like either he picked the wrong girls or has commitment issues. Do you know for a fact that he didnt have any other foreign spouses or is that what he is telling you. Me personally I dont think I could get divorced 6 times. I would have hung it up and not worried about getting married again after the second time. How old is your husband/fiance? (I am guessing you guys are already married or thinking of getting married...your timeline isnt filled in and it just shows that you guys are applying for CR-1/IR-1 visa)

That would be too much of a red flag for me to even have interest of being with that person. If you both stay together and apply for the visa, best of luck to you.

Hiya!

Not trying to be mean but like I never heard about having divorce 6 times.ohhh boy my husband is divorce twice & everytime we had argument his favorite word is "ill send you back home with one way ticket & let's get divorce I'm like you kidding me you just said everyday that u love me and be with me for the rest of ourlives??!!!!!seriously!!!!!!grrrrr I'm tired of it.

Anyway back to topic seems like the LOVE can't fix the problem so the answer is always DIVORCE honestly I can't trust this kind of character.I understand the love you are talking about.well hope at this time no more divorce & that you would be the last women in his life.God bless.

The CO may want to see evidence of a strong relationship to be sure that you will not soon be ex spouse #7 and become a public charge.

Your other post talks about a pre-nup, so don't expect any sort of $$ should a divorce happen. The USC spouse likely has experience protecting assets in family court proceedings. And social services are limited when a green card holder.

Any immigrant moving far far away to live with someone that has been divorced that many times should have a back up plan.

Best of luck.

Anh map is giving you great advice and you should keep it in mind. Being divorced 6 times is a lot and you should be very cautious if you decide going into the marriage is what you want. Right now you're in the lovey dovey phase which means you think you'll come to USA get married and have an amazing and happy life with your fiance. Which I really hope happens but you should always look at both sides. Imagine you move to the USA and you get married and you two are having a lot of problems. If you needed to leave where would you go? If you leave your entire life in your home country and then he decides to divorce you before your green card arrives what will you do? These are all questions you should know the answer to before you change your entire life for someone. I am not saying this to you just because he has been through 6 divorces I think every foreigner who comes here for someone should have the answers to these questions. That being said I am a woman who always follows her heart bc I would rather have tried and lost then never to have tried at all.

Regarding the interview they will more than likely ask you a lot of very difficult questions. I am assuming they will ask why the other relationships didn't work and why do you think makes this relationship different. You're going to have to convince them that you will come to the USA get married and stay together so you won't become a public charge.

Good luck.

I had a friend who have an identical situation where her husband the US citizen was married 5 times, (3 of them to foreigners which one of them obtained GC ), if you still waiting for your interview at the embassy, I would recommend the US citizen to be present because most likely this will come up in the interview. No law is against multiple marriages even from foreigners as long as every marriage started with a divorce decree from the prior marriage and was entered in good faith and not to help anyone stay in the US. My friend passed her interview because the US husband was present to answer about all these marriages.

Good luck
