Hello Everyone

Can someone pls help with this question.. I would like to know when interviews for CR1 are usually scheduled.

Is it the beginning, middle or ending of the month prior to the month of your supposed interview? I heard they usually have a cut-off period in the month prior to your supposed interview month.

God is love!

Well mostly they schedule interview second week of every month, but some say they schedule all month long

They scheduled September interviews First week of August that i can remember and they started scheduling October Interviews on the 13th of September

But you will have at least one month to get ready before your interview date

Philippians 4 vs 6-7

Ok guys much appreciated.

I Can't really fill in my timelines as i don't have the actual dates of each filing, we hired a lawyer for our case but we are at the NVC "checklist" stage! I'm hoping and praying all goes well and after sending the document they requested for we would be getting an interview date!! Hopefully.

God is love!

The NVC schedules interviews as Embassies and Consulates make dates available. This can occur at any time during the month, there is no set procedure as to a specific time of the month when interviews are scheduled.

If no RFE's you will get the Case Complete (no email announcement) and you will wait in the interview queue. Since lawyers don't call NVC (Or don't like to) you won't know when you get case complete. Hopefully you will get by end of week so you can be in November Interview queue. Usually from the time paperwork is sent in its about a 7 to 10 day process that NVC reviews and accepts than closes your case. Good luck.

I hear ya. You should call like everyday. They will not notify you of case complete. Your next announcement will be your interview date. They will send email and all that fun.

So call and call agan. Don't let the it takes 20 days to review discourage you they say that to everybody. It's standard speak. Well hope to be joining you soon we may be in the interview queue together (I want a December interview date).

I know about the 20days stuff and trust me my husband being a very nice gentleman would even give them extra 2days before calling them! I keep telling him to be a lil bit pushy with NVC but he does his stuffs very mannerly( that's one of d things I love about him tho) but "I" personally ain't buying that idea rightnow I honestly want to be with my husband!!! It's soo depressing being all alone.

So I am gonna ask him to keep dialing that number!!!

I wish we join our husbands in time for Christmas :) would be nice!

Good luck too!!

God is love!

I have found out that if I contact the NVC in writing (email) that produces some kind of reaction, first time I contacted them, 20 days after I sent the AOS packet, they responded along with a request of missing paperwork (a DS-230),thus telling me that they had received the I-864. Sent the DS-230 with return receipt and gave them 5 days after I received confirmation and, again, sent an email and their response was an scheduled interview letter. My advice, write to them every day.

I don't think emailing speeds things up at all. You probably would have received the same responses at the same time even if you hadn't emailed. The one thing unnecessary emails do though is clutter up the NVC mailbox and slow down the process for all those people waiting for the approval of their DS-3032 by mail etc. which is why right now it is taking them 10+ days to review DS-3032. So please be considerate and don't write every day unless you have a real reason. Everyone here is waiting to be with their loved ones.
