I've been to various forums and read a 1000 sites and even considered getting a lawyer but it seemed that when my fiance talked to one lawyer, they really won't do more than what we can so we just opted to do it ourselves. ^_^

We held our engagement party last august 2012 and now we would want to file for the K1. most of the evidence however is with him and also i am aware that there are forms that need my original signature. What are those forms and documents that need my signature? Can you please enumerate them?

these is the overview of what i know is to be sent and questions i have for them and i also got this from visa journey:

1. Payment for filing fee

2. Cover Letter (can you please give a copy of this and the table of contents?)

3. Form I - 129F ( the non US citizen fiance doesn't have to sign anything here right?)

4. Declaration of how you met in person for the last two years (can someone please show me an example if this?)

5. original statements indicating intent to marry (do i make two of this in one packet like a statement from him and one statement from me?)

6. proof of having met in 2 years (we talk a lot on YM and that's everyday for almost a year. I took snapshots of the log dates in my YM account and the paper is already 60+ pages. also we skype if not on YM but i only started saving logs last September 2012 and i just copy paste the date of call and duration. is there any specific way for skype logs? also during our engagement, my aunt in California sent us a card and check as a gift. can we add that for the proofs?)

7. G - 325A by US citizen

8. passport type photo of US citizen

9. G - 325A by non US citizen fiance

10. passport type photo of non US citizen fiance

11. Copy of birth certificate or naturalization paper or passport of US citizen

I only have this because we were both single ever since and no name changes nor criminal case.

if any comments or help or corrections please feel free to give them. i just am so scared to make a mistake and end up spending a lot because money is really hard to come by and also i would want to start right and be with my love. thank you in advance for any help.

You each need to fill out G-325 each and you have to sign yours. Also a letter of intent to marry him and signed by you is also an original signiture. And while you both are there, take out your passport pictures and make sure it is a white or off white back ground.

Wish you the best.

You don't need any lawyers - you can do this process with VJ help. Proof of meeting in the past two years are pictures. Make sure to send at least 5 or 6 pictures. Put the date on the back of the pictures along with the names of who are in the pictures. Make sure the pictures are of different settings.

Addtionally for proof of meeting: passport stamps, boarding passes, plane ticket, hotel bills, atm bills or any type of bills that show his presence in the Philippines.

The skype logs, email and phone bills are not proof of meeting. These are proof of an on going relationship. These also must be included.

Thank you for the info mr. smiley. just a clarification. I am the only one going to sign the intent to marry? he doesn't have to make one for himself?

and with the proof for the ongoing relationship, am i sending all the 60 pages snapshot of my ym account? we have been talking for a year now everyday and i have cut the snapshots to just make them see the change in dates and that we chat everyday.

He has to sign a letter of intent to marry as well. I wouldn't send all 60 pages, but maybe a select few from different dates to show the ongoing relationship.

 Make sure you triple check every form before sending them. You don't want to make careless mistakes.

do you by any chance have a copy of the declaration of meeting for the past 2 years? is it in narrative form describing how we met and what happened the whole duration of our stay together?

mr. smiley, does my fiance have to send me the other packet of what he sent to the USCIS and the original proofs?
