I didn't. I only included the minimum, but I did bring some proof of relationship (joint account, bills etc) with me to the interview.

I think that the most important documents that prove your relationship when initially applying are tax return transcripts for three years. If you have those, other documents do not have to be sent. However, although we sent the transcripts with my application, right now we are collecting all other documents that prove the marital union. Those are going to the interview with me. We did not have to lift conditions as we had been married for over 2 years when I entered the United States in 2008 on an immigrant visa, so now I am thinking that they gonna ask for all kinds of evidence. And yes, I am taking my husband of six years to the interview as well.

Really only applies when applying for that three year minus 90 days as a green card holder for that so-called marriage privilege. While the latest bit of information instructs only to bring three years of tax returns, could very easily get an IO that hasn't read that. Meaning more delays and even an extra trip.

You are totally at the mercy of your single IO making all these judgments. And may not having anything to do with you, can be during a slack people where they are trying to make more work for you and mostly for themselves for job security. Having a completely worthless joint utility bill along saved us an extra trip. As a landlord, they went against us to bill back bills, even though that name on the bill was our renter. They couldn't care less whose name is on that bill.

Already proved I was divorced, a natural born citizen twice, why the 3rd time? Why three of the same exact marriage license? Don't question it, just do it. Can skip all this nonsense if you apply for the five year.
