How will I track if application left NVC?

Hello everyone,

We got our approval Aug 31 (NOA2), waited and called NVC for weeks for the case number then last Sept 20 we got another NOA2. Sept 28 called NVC they gave us the case number, finally after almost a month. NVC told us to wait 2 weeks... I read tread that you can track if they send to montreal... how will i do that. My patince is running out after almost 10 months waiting.

Yes, you can track your petition from NVC to Embassy on DHL website: DHL Tracking

First you will need to call to find out the date it left the NVC. Once you know the date then you can use it as a shipping reference. Here's how you can track it on DHL:

For shippers reference you will put: EXP (date NVC said it left) (First 3 letters of month it left) followed by 2012A so for example it would be like this EXP 28 SEP2012A. You may need to play around with the date ranges or even change the date in the reference to the day or two before it actually left. Also there is no Account Number and you can try putting the shipping destination in but sometimes it prevents the results from showing so its best to search all then just scroll through all the results to see if there's any for Montreal.
