Hello guys! I was on a f1 visa. Got married about 5 months ago, and applied for adjustment of status 2 months ago. I already did fingerprints, and recieved in the mail immigration appointment date. Now I have an issue: my very best friend is coming from Germany to get married in Texas...somewhere by the borders, where there is a checkpoint(so I was told). Do you guys know if I can travel with passport and appointment receipt paper...cross checkpoint without any issues?( it is an internal checkpoint)

Carry a copy of your NOA for your I-485, it will show that your green card application is pending and so you are in an authorised period of stay until it is finally adjudicated.

Day 407 (2/14/19) Oath ceremony in Dallas, TX
