Hi All,

I need help regarding my case. I already turned 21yo last December 2011 but before that, all my requirements were already submitted to the NVC. My priority date is 19JUL2010 so I'm really hoping my status would become current on the November VB.

Now I saw a post regarding the CSPA. My question is, what if on the November VB my case gets CURRENT status? How will I be notified about my Medical Examination Schedule? Will I receive an email from the NVC about it? Or do I have to consult with the Embassy directly?

Also, will I still be under the same case F2A and process under the CSPA or will I be automatically converted to F2B and wait a whole lot longer??

Thank you very much!

Assuming you were sponsored by a parent who was a green card holder, did they ever become a US citizen?

When was your I-130 approved?

If your PD will become current this coming Nov 2012 VB, you will receive an email from NVC informing that you have an interview schedule at the US Embassy Manila. They send out the emails within the first week of the month.

example:

My hubby received NVC email Aug 2, 2011.

PD became current during the Sept 2011 VB.

Interview schedule Sept 30, 2011.

As soon as you receive the email you can do your medical. Hubby and kids went to SLEC Aug 17, 2011.

Passport with Visa delivered to our home Oct 4, 2011.

I am sponsored by my dad who is currently a Permanent Resident. He's not yet a US Citizen.

With regards to my I-130, I better ask my dad about it since I am not really familiar with those yet. I'm trying to get to know them know. Thanks for the response.

So does that mean that if my PD will become CURRENT on the November Visa Bulletin, I should expect an email from the NVC this first week of October? Thank you very much for your timeline. This has been very helpful for me to understand how the schedule works.

Also by the way, will I be the one to receive the email or my dad (he is my sponsor)? Thank you.

The person you indicated on the Choice of Agent form will receive the email.
