For example in fax number... Business phone number and pager number.. I have to put it blank since the system won't allow me to put n/a in it... It kept on saying that only numbers are allowed...

Try None instead of N/A

I got the cenomar or certificate of no marriage from national statistic office here in the Philippines, i don't know if what is the equivalent of that agency in your country...

Ok..thanks guys.. And one more thing is it ok to leave a blank in ds156? Coz she also told me that if I leave a blank in my ds156 the computer will not generate the barcode...

I filled out the DS-156 on-line and everything that didn't apply to me I put "None" and it printed out the barcode and barcode number on the last page and on page 1 on top of the space where your visa photo is attached.

Oh My - This is the first I have heard of this... "Cenomar" Where do you aquire these? and do all countries require them? We are still waiting on our NOA 2 from Vermont.

This is country-specific requirement for K1 in the Philippines. It's a certificate to prove that an individual is free to marry and who has not contracted any marriage(s)

Hi guys..Do i have to be specific in putting the purpose for cenomar? Coz someone told me that it has to be travel to USA i check mine and it says visa application. Do i have to get another cenomar?

Try to get another copy. The one you'll turn in during the interview will not likely to be returned to you. Also you might need it when you apply for marriage license.

December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!

February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

CENOMAR from NSO only needs to state your status, purpose not so important. Oh and make a copy as you will need a copy for CFO
