Hello VJ memebers, I just need some help and maybe you guys could provide me some feedback. My wife and I were interviewed on September 13 for her AOS and the IO has requested us to submit an I-693 and which we sent it on September 16 directly to USCIS office here in Guam. It's kind of scary because we haven't heard any updates, no email or any notifications that her AOS is approved after sending her RFE and its been almost 3 weeks now. My wife and I have been checking the Case status online and seems like nothing hasn't been updated and it still shows as Initial review/testing? Does USCIS website really current or up to date when checking our status? What action should we initiate in order for us to find out if her AOS is approve? Shoud we make an infopass to the office we'd sent our RFE from?? Thank you all very much..

I think you guys will be fine. The USCIS made a simple request, and you already fulfilled it. Now you can relax and wait for the green card.

Just out of curiosity, did you submit a copy of your DS-3025 with your AOS packet? If so, then this is the third case I've read about this week where the USCIS required an I-693 from K-1'ers who had already sent in a copy of their DS-3025. That's interesting because normally St. Lukes gives you all of the vaccinations necessary for adjusting your status, and an I-693 should not be necessary.

Okay here's what happened? My wife was 4 months pregnant when she arrived here in guam and on her supplemental record DS 3025 showed that she does not have any shot because of her pregnancy. Then when she arrived here in Guam, I applied for her health insurance and she's been getting her prenatal check up regularly from her doctor. Here's the saddest part though, when she was due for her 6 months ultrasound check up. The doctor told us that our baby already passed away for almot 3 weeks on her tummy. It was the most dramatic and heart broken experience that has ever happened to us here in Guam. So now the IO that interviewed my wife didn't even asked why she was missing some shots and it was too late to explained what happened. Then the IO has asked if she has an I-693 and we told him that she was pregnant before and he still gave her an RFE.
