Hey guys, we got P4 FOR NEOPOST DS-1200 email today. Our interview schedule is 11/6! Wish you all the best of luck!

Grats! kicking.gif Time for the medical and interview preparation!

Then why do All the NVC operators tell me that a photocopy of the police certificate is all that is required and to bring the original to the interview?

Then follow these operators' advice if you want to believe them. It's your case, not mine. I'm telling you what I would do for MY case. Since you have the original PCC already, I honestly don't understand why you don't want to send it. It's not like a birth certificate or marriage certificate which you'll need for the rest of your life. The PCC is only for this immigration process. You'll never need it again.

Case complete today! Got the standard answer as far as interview of it being scheduled next week for a Nov interview date.

Grats! kicking.gif Hopefully you get the interview date soon!

WOOOOOOO I RECEIVED THE INTERVIEW DATE TODAY WOOOOOOOOOO NOVEMBER 15!!!! :D

Yay, grats! kicking.gifkicking.gif

Does anyone know why El Salvador would not have gotten their open dates in yet to NVC? Everyone else is getting their dates (India, China, Philippines, Mexico) -- is it because those are bigger consulates so they run a tight ship??

:ot:

When I was at the embassy in Stockholm, I waited in line next to an older couple who were from El Salvador. They had lived in Sweden for 25 years. They frequently went to NYC and I believe that was the reason why they were at the embassy, to apply for a tourist visa so they can go again. They were very nice.

:ot2:

That is all. Carry on.

LOL you are too funny. Well you are keeping me entertained.

You must be easily entertained.

Which is not necessarily a bad thing!

It was nice to talk to the El Salvadorians (did I just make up a word or is that what people from El Salvador are called?) and it helped pass the time. Standing outside in the rain, waiting to be let in for the security checkpoint would have been a lot more tedious and boring if it hadn't been for the nice couple. :)

how soon do you expect the interview date?

and how long did it take for the case to complete from the day you sent in the DS-230 Package?

thanks!

I paid my IV bill on 9/19, and sent my IV package to them on Friday, 9/21. Tracking confirmed it was delivered last Monday, so it took them about 8 business days to review. From some other VJ UK timelines, looks like it's taking about 6 weeks from completion to interview date. Fingers crossed!
