Our RFE review is now taking longer than our original filing. Is this normal? Our RFE response was delivered to NVC two weeks ago. Originally reviewing the AOS and the DS-230 took 11 and 12 days respectively.

ANY news?

I sent my IV bill via Fedex 2 day air yday so it suppose to deliver on thursday and fedex office tell me I am wasting my time bcoz of storms. So imagine my suprise when I track it today and it shows delivered and signed for :o

goes to show the incomptency of fedex office personnel. they never did check what areas are affected by the storm. anyways am not complaining coz it go delivered one day early lol. thank god I didnt listen to that clerk.

 Ughhhhh delay after delay after misunderstanding after delay. Sometimes I wonder WHY I even bother. Well I guess I will just read through my 1100 pieces of VJ mail. So sad and disappointed right now. Another flippin month of NVC. Sorry can't fake my disappoinment. I am utterly sad! I need wine and Ice Cream.:crying: :crying:

The first piece of correspondence NVC sends out contains the case number, IIN, among other things. But by the time you get it, your AOS may already be invoiced. So, instead of wasting time, I suggest you call NVC up asap and get it from a competent operator. If they don't know what you're talking about or refuse to give it to you, just hang up and call again.

Thanks for the advice- my husband ended up calling back, and of course, they gave him the IIN!

I swear it's harder for the beneficiary calling sometimes!

Still no case complete for us :(

It's been 15 days since our RFE documents were delivered to the NVC. I really don't see us getting a December interview anymore and all I want to do is cry. No Halloween celebration for me. Hiding away at home.
