Definitely feel you ladies on this one. It was so funny, he got into this "why are you mothering me" vibe with me so I stopped reminding him about things and guess what, NOTHING got done, he even forgot to wish his mom for her bday,so he said "ok babe can we go back to the mothering please" lol

I'm on the bus to work and had to LOL ti this. I so can relate.

My husband complains because he's like "I think transportation is cheap and u running me all over and tellin me what to do". I am tellin u let him do this process without me.

He even said when he read the whole petition he cried it was so beautifully put together.

Wooo weee we must be in love to put up with this.

We are sending in our IV package tomorrow. :D

I haven't heard anything about the I-864 I sent off a few weeks ago. Is no news good news regarding that? I think I will call and at least see if they have it.

It has been 1.5 months since my wife's POE, but we have not received Green Card or even welcome letter. Went to SSN office and obtained SSN. Also received applied for and received driver's license. How long does it take to get the Green Card in mail? I thought it was about 3 weeks. Should we call USCIS? Thanks!

Hey guys and gals. Hope everyone had a good weekend. So I just made one of my make-a-cuppa-coffee-clean-the-house-wash-the-dog-while-youre-on-hold NVC calls and they say they still havent processed my AOS Package. It was delivered to them October 11th. Should it have been processed by now? How long do they usually take to review the pack after it hits the building? We're just waiting on "paid" for the IV fee and then will be posting the IV packet too. Just kinda want to get an idea of how much longer this NVC stage will take before finalised.

Thank you :)

It can take 1-2 weeks. I'd say this week is your week to hear of it being reviewed yes.gif

Have you called them? You need to call to find out if it's been accepted!

The green card can take up to a few months to receive. It's nothing to worry about at all if you haven't gotten it yet, as the stamp/visa in the passport acts as a temporary green card for up to a year. If you haven't heard anything near the end of the first year, that's when you should call USCIS up and inquire.

Hey Guy!!!

So now that I'm at the NVC stage I feel totally lost.... LOL!! I seem to have done a great job helping other, But all these emotions have me wild!!!

I rec'd my case number last Friday 10/18/12

I sent DS3032 Via (Ben-Email address) Rec'd automated email from NVC

Now what do I do? Should I wait until next Friday before I start calling to inquire about IIN number? Or should I be expecting an email back from NVC stating they accepted the DS3032?

Thank you guys!

Call NVC asap and ask for the IIN. You could/should have gotten that with your case number.

Once you get your IIN, sign into the payment portal often to check if the AOS is invoiced.

While waiting for everything, go back to post 1 and re-read everything.
