That is just too cute :) :) I used to play "The Sims" (I know, I know ) like there was no tomorrow but my husband wasn't really into this game. Wonder why

Oooo, The Sims. I have all them all laughing.gif Haven't played lately though. My husband got into The Sims randomly once. Only lasted a few weeks :P

congrats!

@saylin: just curious...what is the record?! :huh::P

Record for fastest between filing the I-130 and getting the visa? I have no idea, but I expect less than a month, probably a week or two. There have been some fast DCF cases in the past. But if you want to compare yourself, you need to look at the two different categories, one where the petitioner is living abroad and generally has a faster process and the second where the petitioner doesn't live abroad with a typically longer process.

Hmm. What version of IE are you using? Have you tried different versions? Some versions of IE are drastically different. I can't recall which one the payment portal is designed for, but it's one of the older ones.

If that doesn't work, all you can really do is wait. Everyone has to remember, this process takes time and you honestly need a bucket of patience, otherwise you'll just drive yourself crazy.

I feel like DCF is cheating though, but I do wonder what's the fastest non-DCF case. Of course it would have to be someone who benefited from the filing from abroad auto-expedited thing.

Thank you very very much, Saylin!

Might be I have to wait.

I think it's not because of IE versions. As said before, the IV Fee Bill has invoiced online already. But after that, it's no longer available (I means it doesn't appear "NOT PAID" as usual ) .

Yeah, DCF cases go pretty quickly laughing.gif And I still lump those abroad getting the auto-expedite at USCIS into some category in between DCF and non-DCF as they skip like ~4 months at USCIS.

Thank you very very much, Saylin!

Hopefully it gets invoiced soon.

And you would be really surprised what a different version of IE (or even different browsers) can do. Trust me, I'm a programmer (in-training) :P

Husband starts Monday of a do over of collecting all the dang IV BILL packet.

Why? What happened?

the IV BILL is something you pay

but the IV packet can be done by you or him, with the DS-230 PART I having his original signature .

Seriously - what happened?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

am just curious about these metals in your body. Is it bullets?

No, I had a motorbike accident in 2008. What is left in there right now is a screw in my knee, rod/screws in my femur, plate/screws in my elbow.

I know in Australia, we have state healthcare so there were some restrictions for my wife when she came here.

I think my issues shouldn't be a problem though, wouldn't they only be looking for people who are 'sick' rather than 'disabled'?

I have tried and still no hope. I might call NVC to check again on Monday

I have the same problem with RyS (post #14) in this thread : http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/311520-online-payment-of-ds-230-problem/

And his experience is just to wait for fixing itself :( (on Page 2)
