Congrats!!! Did they email you or did you call them to find out? Everytime I call I get a different person answering with different answer. So glad you still had a chance to get in november :)

Email. I called them yesterday though and they didn't have an interview date yet so I suppose they send it out right away :)

Seems i read your guys advise abit late I already sent DS3032. Anyways fingers crossed it gets accepted otherwise will have to send it again....

If you want to be safe, when your AOS gets invoiced, send another DS-3032.

hey hope you had a gud day :D

its wouldnt create a confusion if you send multiple emails? If they accept the first one they will just ignore subsequent emails right?

all those stupid Congrats threads that have no use to me and many others.

and a lot of times VJ does not like constructive critizism because they consider it to be an insult.

i for one detest the congrats threads....however, i imagine myself in the place of getting my interview date or having the visa in hand, and can totally understand wanting to share it with the VJ community that has helped me along this entire way...so while i don´t like them, i understand them.

i wouldn´t say "VJ" doesn´t like constructive criticism, but rather certain users don´t. their loss. doesn´t keep me from trying to help others like i was helped.

and Darnell....how in the name of god can i turn off the signatures?? i think they are super informative, but take up WAY TOO MUCH SPACE on threads like this one.

I had a good day. No more work till Saturday, so I'm happy :) Just have one more day of classes and 2 assignments to submit.

And no, shouldn't cause any confusion. They should just ignore subsequent emails.

Instead of clogging up the forums, one can just post a status :) Or post in the monthly threads.

To turn off signatures, go to your settings. Then click the Forum tab. First option is about viewing members' signatures on the forums. Uncheck it if you want. I keep it though as they're extremely helpful to answer people's questions :)

the way I look at congrats threads is like children seeking attention.

But some congrats do mean something, like from Saylin, etc...

I respect modest VJ members a lot more than "show offs"

Do you think Neal Armstrong(the first man to immigrate away from Earth) would post a thread like: "Hey Look at me, attention please, my visa to the moon was just approved!!"

I think NOT!
