If you sent it on the 4th, it's only been 7 business days. It can take up to 2 BUSINESS weeks. You just need to be patient. The response will come yes.gif

And it's still possible to get a case complete by the end of the month, as long as you send the IV package as soon as the IV bill appears as PAID.

Unless you're part of the EP program, you do not get any correspondence from NVC about them receiving packages or reviewing them. You need to call NVC to find out.

And it doesn't matter that you're the beneficiary, you can still call. For our case, I (the beneficiary) was the only one that called. If an operator gives you problems (it does happen), then just hang up and call again.

thank you,. I called NVC lately and the girl told me that my case was already completed. But still i can log in into the payment portal.

Just called NVC, spoke to a WONDERFUL lady, and inquired on our status. Received GREAT news that my DS-260 and Supporting documents have been reviewed and accepted. Received horrible news that due to the fact they apparently misplaced our AOS and we had to resend it yesterday, we will have to wait up to an additional 20 days for a case complete :crying:

I kick myself as I always felt calling them was more of a nuisance than anything. Bide your time I thought. Well here is my recommendation to all of you: MANAGE YOUR CASE and call when something seems out of line. More importantly, call once every week just to get a status update. If we had done that our case would now be complete :bonk::angry:

wow thats quite a compilation you have there. seems alot of months went over 100 pages that is crazy. Well I am up to page 15. Learn some new stuff about how interviews are set up and some other useful info

Yeah, although some monthly threads can get long, they do have some very good information in them. You just gotta read through all the pages to find it laughing.gif

OMG I finish reading those 66 pages patiently and then I decide to call NVC to see if they issue case number and YES THEY DID

Got case number and IIN :wow:

So I gave over email address for myself and my wife. He told me I cant pay any fees yet because they havent finished processing the file

What else I have to do now???

Should I send the DS 3032? Or wait a day or 2? I have it filled out and ready to email...

I am getting a good feeling

Grats on the case number!

Yup, you can send the DS-3032 now. I think it's time you refer to the FAQs on the first post ;)

thank you,. I called NVC lately and the girl told me that my case was already completed. But still i can log in into the payment portal.

SIF no longer happens. My case completed more than a year and a half ago and I can still log in. If an operator told you your case is complete, then cheer! It's great news! kicking.gif Your case is now in queue for an interview.

LOL I call them Salvadoran. But some people say "Salvadorian" too. I think it goes both ways ;)

really routing for you to hear something, i know how hard it is i only waited 6 days from case complete to getting interview date and that seemed like forever

i know mine was for my child and her date was a priority, but it saddens me to see people like yourself wait so long, doing things legally and the right way but dont get the benefit for their efforts, on the plus side, when all is done and finished you can hold your head high...YOUR A LEGAL immigrant and was worth the wait, no looking over your shoulder and being worried because your not legal...i know its not much comfort to you now, but my best wishes are sent and hope you do hear something soon

was hoping for some clarification (ehem, from saylin the great  )

i received an email from NVC yesterday stating that they had reviewed the supporting documents that i had sent...this i assume is the AOS packet i sent because that's the only packet i've sent so far. at the end was a checklist but i know it was a "fake checklist" coz it asked for the DS-3032 and they had already sent me an email accepting my husband's DS-3032 email and appointing me as agent. is it safe for me to assume that my AOS packet has "passed" the initial review because they didn't ask for additional documents?

For real? That's so funny! My OCD is leaning towards following instructions and preparation. I even created a timetable chart showing when to pay, when to mail, etc. so everything is in-sync. Lol.

Hello fellow Oct filers, sorry, ladies with OCD here!
