it's all due to the fact that you are using a handphone.

Yer browser cache is full in yer handphone, and is now getting corrupted.

Got my letter from NVC! Interview Nov 1!!!! And I his called them today. Lol.

Well, there ya go.

Yay ! one less thing to worry about.

Congratulations !!!

I think that's rather 'fast', all things considered, but it is less than a month, so that's a plus.

Got our interview date for late Nov just now -

Hey buddy - yer in the wrong forum, based on visa type.

But -

The payment process is totally different for K-1 vs CR-1/IR-1

Specifically for CHINA - she pays at a CITIC bank in China, in RMB or USD, for the VISA APPLICATION FEE.

Usually folk take the letter from GUZ IV, as it has the GUZ IV Casefile Number on it (GUZ1234566890) and a CITIC Clerk knows what to do. The receipt is given over on document intake day.

Secondly, she needs to get in for a medical, but that can be done anytime after receiving the appointment letter.

Thirdly, she (and you) need to study the OF-169 thingie sent to her. She needs to return a set of stuff (reread the OF-169, it's all there)

When the OF-169 hits the GUZ IV office, she'll get in the queue for interview scheduling.

So, she already has the packet 3, but study this a bit ?

I am the petitioner and received NOA2 Sept. 18, 2012, at my mailbox in US

On Sept 27, 2012 received letter from NVC saying received and approved I-129F

The letter had my INS Receipt Number from receipt of NOA1

The letter also contained a Case Number for Guangzhou embassy GUZ2012768057

and the address of the embassy that it would be processed in China

My fiance' received a phone call from embassy in Guangzhou confirming her mailing address on Sept 29, 2012

My fiance' received a packed on Oct 1 in China requesting she send only DS-230 and then the list of other documents she would need when assigned an interview date.

Now my question: Neither she nor I have received an invoice from NVC which you say must be paid from US bank. I try to sign in to "Invoice Payment" portal and do and ACH but I have no invoice identification number. Everything happened in less than two weeks from the time of receipt of NOA2 from VSC. I get nervous when things go too quickly. When will I get an invoice????? If I do not get an invoice and she gets an interview scheduled will they deny her when she travels to Guangzhou for invoice not being paid????

9/18 NOA2 VSC

9/22 NVC receives approved I-129F petition

9/27 NVC assigns Case number and China Embassy has approval from NVC next day

9/28 Beneficiary from China receives phone call from GUZ (embassy)

10/1 Beneficiary from China receives packet

Okay wait I am confused since when do you deal with NVC and pay fees on a K1 Visa? Everything you is through embassy. You pay your fee at embassy when you go to interview. Right?

Still waiting on husbands IV BILL documents. Why we can't all be EP. ughhhh. wait I must. Just want Case complete by end of month. And the idea of doing this over makes me want to cry.

Based on your timeline, I am figuring you are talking about receiving an NOA2 from USCIS and not a case complete from the NVC.

For reference purposes, it took 13 days after my NOA2 for my file to reach the NVC and 37 days after my NOA2 to receive a case number from the NVC.

Took 31 days to reach NVC after a service request to CSC to send it (It was just sitting at CSC) than another 17 days to get case number. So NOA2 to case# 48 days.

NVC will not hear you or do nothing until 15 BUSINESS DAYS (make sure you are counting BUSINESS days) then you can send an email for inquiry which they will tell you what you already know "its not there"

Often never. it really has to be life or death situation. Or deployment with military. And you are done at NVC what you are really requiring is Embassy to step it up. So I would try going through DOS and the Embassy and getting your congressman on it. This has now gone to a Def-Con 4 for you. You need to alert higher ups.

yea well you think its worth calling USCIS? can they check if the file is still there or if it has been dispatched already? I don't want to be in the forgotten pile...but yea am waiting patiently for case number

at this stage, getting verbal confirmation from an ISO at USCIS is a godsend.
